Symphonia is a solid game and along with Golden Sun (and especially The Lost Age) and FE7 may have been the biggest factors in my rediscovering that RPGs are the genre I live for in games after I somehow forgot my obsession with SMRPG as a kid. I do think many future Tales games have surpassed it: Abyss, Xillia 2, Berseria, Graces f. Even Vesperia and Xillia have cases IMO. (get rekt zestiria) but none of that is meant to detract from Symphonia.
