There were also interviews somewhere talking about how Microsoft is the driving force behind the localization. PSO2 was originally a PC game. It is still not on XB1 in JP, nor are there any plans for it to be, so early releasing it (because progress in CBT/OBT carry over to launch) on XB1 is just weird. Up until about half a week ago (when a community manager managed to get permission to actually release details on twitter) there was total radio silence on all but a few details. The fact that it's probably going to be on steam is really good news (if it was being served on Windows Games store I would have given up all hope, because it's common there), but I'm still a little wary. Note that I have zero belief PSO2 is physically incompatible with W7, because I have been playing the JP version on it for six years now.
