More people started on Zelda II than I expected In the really early days of the NES, it was still a lot of arcade ports, SMB, Metroid, and whatever you could get your hands on. Karnov, Rush n Attack, Rambo, Metal Gear, Contra, Ikari Warriors, 1942, Kid Icarus... maybe Rygar, Blaster Master, Dragon Warrior, baseball, Mike Tyson's Punch Out...the original Zelda was sort of a sleeper and I really think that if it weren't for the gold cartridge and Nintendo Power it might have just gone under the radar like Jackal or Balloon Fight. There was always the one weird kid on the block that had Golgo 13 or M.U.S.C.L.E.
