Reg 01/08/20 12:54:32 PM #172:	As far as HMs go, I usually the Red Gyarados for water HMs in Johto games (though I tend to give Surf to anything that'll learn it and has decent special attack) and Strength, and I tend to just distribute the rest around my team without much concern. Though my two most recent Pokemon playthroughs I did have dedicated HM users (Tropius and Swampert in Emerald, who can learn all 8 of gen 3's HMs between them and Gyarados with Furret for Cut/Strength/Surf in VC Crystal.
