I expected it to be logical with insane mind games but other than the first card game the battles are just your typical shounen "whoever is the most hot-headed and passionate" wins and pulling out bullshit to justify it. It's a problem when I believe Jojo had more reasonable battles. We must have different preferences, because that was part of why I loved it. Yeah they won with asspulls, but the sheer creativity of the games also led to creativity behind the different asspulls. It was like if Yami Yugi knew the equivalent of "use my catapult turtle to launch my dragon champion at your floating castle but only knock off its flotation ring so it falls and crushes all of your monsters below it" for every kind of game imaginable. I get what you're saying and why someone might not like that. We all have different preferences and that's totally fine. I respect that. Also I hate Jibril.
