It even edges out venison, and I really, really like venison. Gazelle is just on another level. Ibex is a close second, venison (deer) is a very close third. Venison is however far more available than the rest. Bear is hit or miss, so is moose and elk. If I had to pick a last meal, a gazelle New York strip would be my first choice. In a survival situation, all bets are off, but having sampled a surprising cross-section of exotic game, gazelle is by far my favorite. Snakes suck unless frog is your jam.
