It was a good intro to the franchise, but it had balance issues, some of the platforming elements are stupidly brutal, etc. EnvyFox posted... Mega Man 1 sucks? Maybe compared to the other main games in the classic Mega Man series but, when compared to the entire NES library, I still think it rates pretty high. If you want an NES game that suck, play Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
