When I played the Fates games and Awakening I essentially randomized partners instead of playing matchmaker. I let myself veto any dialogue that was looking to turn into absolute tragedy, no chemistry written, or one character feeling like they were trapped in this fictional relationship that would spawn an army unit. I think I vetoed 8 relationships with this guy as he just makes everyone miserable. We have plenty of edgelords in these games with soft hearts but he actively seeks the best way to make everyone miserable. He literally turns one of his own enjoyments into a hatred just to spite someone. He's constantly described as a carefree monk but it really is just more of the asshole monk. I've put up with annoying twins, mascot characters, and many other awful rpg characters. I still think this jackass would be at the top of worst characters. Like: F Design: D, While his staff is cool you knew before this guy spoke that he'd be a raving jackass Usefulness: C, for some reason hes the one mage/healer character that doesn't die a lot.
