Sekiro was on sale for more than half off, so I picked that up yesterday and have been playing it this morning.

I think this game may just be too hard. And I have no desire to "git gud".

The bosses are obscenely difficult and seem to basically require dying multiple times in order to learn their moves and how to react to them. That's not super fun.

I didn't get Sekiro because I don't like the looks of the combat system.

But I have not gotten Code Vein because the boss fights look epic hard, and you don't have any way to level up/increase stats etc to make them easier even. Dark souls at least you could get better stats/equipment etc and make the boss fights a bit easier. Also I enjoy building a character and don't like it when that is missing all together.

I do wish they would make the "souls" like games witha lower difficulty mode (optional) so people who are not great at the fights can still play through (like a NEw Game - lol), you play through on "easy" and then you can move forward and play through on normal with the same char, then new game + etc.
