The Packers are the first non-Cowboys or Rams team to earn the NFC's top seed since the Lions in S6. This Cowboys have won the NFC East for the sixth consecutive season, and they have earned a first round bye in five of those seasons. This is the sixth NFC South crown for the Buccaneers and eight time in nine seasons under Sir Chris that the Bucs have made the playoffs. This is the fourth consecutive playoff appearance for the Rams. The Vikings are the third team in as many seasons to record 11 wins and not win their division (Pioneers S11, Dolphins S10).
