| Blackstar110 11/22/19 12:53:32 PM #1: | -Kevin Gilbert, young singer-songwriter, wins 1998 worldwide talent contest by Yamaha -Gilbert gets invited by Madonnas producer to make an album -Through this, he works with Michael Jackson and meets Sheryl Crow, a backup dancer for MJ. They begin dating -Gilbert, working through his own album, is connected with a group of musicians and call themselves the Tuesday Night Music Club -Crow is working on an album, her label isnt happy with it, so she brings it to the TNMC -TNMC workshops it and essentially writes the whole album. They are all credited as writers on the songs EXCEPT Crow, particularly Gilbert, who wrote Leaving Las Vegas and coached her on singing -After a year of collaboration, they turned over the finished master and Crow told them all to get lost -She names the album Tuesday Night Music Club and basically just puts a thanks for the support in the liner notes -Crow dumps Gilbert for a record label executive -Crow performs Leaving Las Vegas on Letterman, who asks if the song is autobiographical.
