Movie studios should have the leniency to explore new designs and stuff, especially in reboots - not everything has to be a shot-for-shot recreation of the source material. But the original Sonic design was just terrible, and I think it would have gone down in history as one of the worst-looking redesigns in history. This design is better for everyone. It's better for the adults who continue to age into even weirder, more stunted adults who can't let go of their childhood obsessions, and it's better for any kids who are seeing Sonic for the first time. It's a much friendlier and vibrant take on the character, and I think it's better for everybody that things turned out like this. --- And I am done with my graceless heart, so tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart Now Playing: Yakuza 5, Final Fantasy X-2, Minecraft ...
