That was a clue that slapped me in the face and I didnt realize! We got past THAT scene, the one which makes me cry every fucking time when Shannon and Kanon say each other are just in the way Honestly one of the most powerful and important lines in all Umineko, imo. I LOVE the way this version handles the scene, too, with each ones sprite being the only one on a black screen while the talk. So like Shannon talks and Kanon fades, then Kanon talks and Shannon fades. Amazing. Beatrice has a thought of why must they do this? and then the game asks why is this important to figuring out Battlers closed-room mystery?"
