It would probably be better to incorporate arms and abs into your MWF workout if youre doing full body 3 days a week. Ascetic abs is more dependent upon your diet than anything. Sit ups, crunches, etc. help but diet is the key.

Why is your regular workout taking taking so long? Are you doing a lot of reps/sets or is your rest time long? Its probably fine to do what youre suggesting but you may end up more exhausted since youre not isolating muscle groups for certain workout days. Like its better to have a pure leg day, pure back day, chest day, arm day, and so on.

Everyone is different so I would say try out what youre suggesting for two weeks. If its not working, then change it ASAP. Personally, I like to do full body 3x per week. Ill do squats , deadlifts, bench, pull ups and chin ups, crunches, sit ups, leg press, hammer press, leg curls, dumbbell curls, triceps pull down, lat pull down, light cardio, etc. but I have plenty of time to spare.

The important thing is that your body is getting rest and recuperating. 3x week full body is optimal. Just make sure you dont tire yourself out by doing more than you should on the between days. You dont want to be bench pressing heavy weight with sore arms after all.
