Battler goes through the game through Beatrice to learn the truth, he gets good at battling as his name implies, then he pins her down and wins. Then he learns the truth and Beatrice goes catatonic. Now Erika is here and trying to learn the truth and Battler has gone catatonic. I wonder if this is part of the learning process: going catatonic and requiring the other person to save you. A: So is this what Beatrice was doing when she was catatonic? Weaseling her way out of Battlers trap so she could be reborn as a phoenix? Lambda talks about how she went through hell. This is one of my favorite monologues by her and I told Arria to pay attention. This is a topic she has a lot of interest in, the whole abused people continue the cycle A: Oh, for once my brain-weasels were actually useful. None of the parent in Umineko are good parents. A lot of them abuse their kids emotionally, physically, or both. So it wouldnt be difficult to imagine the tables turned at some point. A: On a similar note, thats what the twin demons are.
