And the company has a valid gripe about those kinds of social media issues, Not really. This notion of policing people's private lives for "unprofessional behaviour" is thoroughly ridiculous. You don't need to be professional when you're not doing anything work-related. If she were actively speaking ill of the company (or prior employers)? Sure, that's damaging. If she were wearing her work uniform while doing something objectionable? Sure, that's damaging. But nobody thinks less of a company because one of its employees has a picture on their instagram of themselves at the beach in a bikini. That's just stupid. --- This is my signature.
