The first anime that I ever watched at all = Pokemon and Sailor Moon (both around the same time, can't remember which one was actually first) The first anime that I ever finished = Cardcaptors (not knowing it was the chopped up Nelvana dub and not the real Cardcaptor Sakura) The first anime that I watched knowing it was anime = Outlaw Star (it's also what made me a real anime fan) The first anime that I looked for online because I heard about it but it wasn't on TV = Princess Nine That was the beginning of my journey towards weebdom.
