Topic	I'm thinking of going to NYC in November... alone

Or are you thinking of spending time in the other boroughs? Manhattan's pretty easy to navigate. And you'll be pretty safe as long as you avoid the couple neighborhoods you shouldn't be in, and don't walk around looking like a blatant tourist (ie, don't keep gawping at how tall all the buildings are). If you're going to head into other boroughs, it complicates things.
