The meta group discusses how Erika is now in Battlers room and looking for his corpse Erika mentions in Blue truth that Battler may be hiding in a hidden passage and she will be unable to find him. Battler and Beatrice bring up Knox rule 3 about no hidden passages existing. A: Does this only apply to the detective, though? K: No, this is for everyone. If the rule specifies detective, its detective-only. But for this, Knox wrote this rule for the reader. It would be cheap if an author hid a corpse and then just said well you cant find it because its in a secret door I never told you about! A: You know what this reminds me of? When a kid plays hide-and-seek with their parents and the kid is like, under the bed giggling, and the parent is like hmm, I wonder where she could be?
