I don't remember), but the grading system was broken so I wound up still getting a C even without doing it and the teacher never questioned it. We had to do a Senior year project, too, which consisted of doing some sort of special project - usually something in the community, assistant coaching a junior league team or providing guitar lessons or something - writing an essay on that subject, and giving a presentation on the essay and our personal experience. I also didn't really do this to be honest.
