Are you looking for stopping power, killing while preserving the meat (as a hunter), or exploding your target into ludicrous gibs? Are you target shooting, shooting at people who are shooting back, shooting at someone wearing a bulletproof vest, or trying to take down vehicles? What's more important to you in a weapon - accuracy, rate of fire, range, force? The idea is to specify your needs, then choose the best ammo for that particular use.
