When gauntlet did their full ranking, it was 3rd behind Mononoke and Spirited Away. All three movies are fantastic and I think all three deserve that segment. But I think more people should see Laputa if they liked any Ghibli movies and haven't seen it. Underrated: The Wind Rises: Fantastic movie about the first attempts to fly, it's more historical, so didn't sit right with most Ghibli fans, but you should realize that it's a better movie that just the same old basic formula. We had comments of it lacking the magic of Hayao, and I can't disagree more. Overrated: Kiki's Delivery Service, while I just praised Jiji, I meant it when he's the best parts of the movie. Number one songs from the 80's. (just google a list to look at.) Since it's not like I get rankings of all of these, I'll just pick based on weeks at #1, or something it beat. Properly Rated: Karma Chameleon by Culture Club. You know, looking at this song to make sure it was the song I thought it was, was the first time I realized it was sung by Boy George. Lol me. Lasted 3 weeks, which it rightfully deserved, only to be ousted by Jump, which deserved its time. This song is one of the few that will never stop me from singing along to it when it appears on a radio in Saints Row 3. Underrated: Take on Me by aha. Lasted only one week and lost to Whitney Houston, boo. Overrated: There's a lot you can probably name, and I'd love to see other people's opinion on this one. Take one song that you think shouldn't have hit #1 when it did, either because it shafted a song you think belonged at #1, or maybe even cut the reign of a song you love short while you dislike it. Now, I don't think Footloose is a bad song, but Holding Out For a Hero came out partway through its reign and I think it could have been cut short, because that song deserved a #1 week. (And it's also a song I sing when it comes on the radio in SR3, which I have a funny story to tell about but not in this post! Maybe if someone wants to know it.) --- I'll just go back to gifs.
