Is it weird I hope to see Dakota in the new TV series? Maybe in just a cameo role. Or maybe even as Mary. :x They're about the same age now I think.

Other wise, I cried when I saw the movie. They're was not one ounce of Justice for the book. ...... Movie was awful AND they changed her hair to FUCKING BLONDE. Nicole Kidman made an awful character and mockery of the book. I hope this one explains more than the first one.
To be fair, a lot of people really loved Kidman's portrayal of Coulter. Even Philip Pullman thought she was great for the role and regretted not making her blonde in the first place. So much so that he retconned it and new editions state her as blonde, as well as in La Belle Sauvage, the first book of the sequel trilogy.
I was unmoved and was open to her playing the role, but she was hollow. To me at least. Coulter was meaty, cunning, silent but loud with presence and commanded all rooms. Kidman tried. I am happy Pullman like her. But the dark hair would've def inspired a like in her direction. But, to each their own! :)
yeah definitely! Not saying you're wrong or anything, Kidman is still polarizing for her portrayal for us fans. Despite liking Kidman, myself, I really liked Coulter from what we saw in this trailer. She gave me chills.
