Maybe if you left your home and actually went to stores you'd realize that good mattresses are expensive. Sure, you can order a $120 6" foam mattress-in-a-box or stop at your local Goodwill to pick up a mattress for about $150, but you get what you pay for.

You can pay $150 and get a basic box spring mattress brand new.

A reasonably good mattress is usually going to run you around $1800 at least. There are some decent-quality memory foams out there that you can get for less than $1500, but when you start to look at quality, you're going to be paying around $3k. And $3k isn't even the really expensive stuff. I take it you've never gone mattress or furniture shopping before, though.

You can get a bed frame with a tv coming out of the footboard for $1800 lol

A decent mattress is only going to cost you $600, beyond that you're basically wasting your money, I know this from experience of kitting out my entire flat, not your mothers basement.
