Many on the left are constantly wondering why our luminaries keep going on Fox in good faith and then get surprised to find the conversation isn't on the up and up. Few institutions have been as destructive to political discourse in America as Fox news and a big part of that is the impulse by politicians to legitimatize them as journalists and default to norms where they should probably leave them alone. Let their copy writers spin the narrative they were going to spin anyway. everything you just said makes me feel even more strongly that what I think is the case is the case, to be honest with you --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ...
