To be fair, I think most country music is godawful in every important respect...but I do have a soft spot for a Garth track or 2 and I'll fight a man in the street for speaking ill of Johnny Cash.

Yeah, now that you mention it, Johnny Cash is also definitely one of my guilty pleasures.

The sitar is a pleasing instrument to the ear, and I give George Harrison a lot of credit for trying to adopt it.

But it's kind of like a theremin. You have to be REALLY, REALLY careful if you're going to mix lyrics into a sitar or theremin piece.
