Write-Up: Hmm, I kinda don't know where I truly stand on this song. It's got a lot of things that usually bug me about song progression but it has a few things I like too. It's one of Meat Loaf's better known songs but I'd never preach that it is one of his best. I'm not even sure I entirely understand the reference or meaning of the song to be perfectly honest. I've read plenty of statements from fans lauding over the tune as a masterpiece and I might give it that for the story telling but I don't know about anything else. I do like the piano play and would probably appreciate this song more if the vocals were removed. Not that Meat Loaf is terrible but the tempo is so inconsistent imo that I am less likely to enjoy repeated listens. The album is pretty solid overall though. ====================================
