Here, you can drive a manual right after you pass in an automatic Generally speaking, the test is supposed to be whether or not you know the rules of the road and drive without running down pedestrians or hitting trees, not whether or not you can properly work a clutch or shift gears. Taking the test in a manual trans car does add a level of unnecessary difficulty. Once you pass in an automatic, they don't really care whether or not you know what you're doing when it comes to manual transmission, because if you fuck that up it's mostly only your own car that's going to suffer for it, which makes it your own problem. Granted, one could argue that having to deal with manual trans after the fact creates an extra layer of distraction that could cause accidents in general that might harm other people, but the same could be said of things like radios and hands-free phones, and we still haven't banned those yet - or added them to the driving test. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
