Driving on the left.

How does that work btw? If you're taking the tunnel from England to France, when does it transition from driving on the left to the right?

When it says "Welcome to France" and you go through a checkpoint.

Power sockets and voltages would be convenient.

230v is more efficient, UK plugs are more stable.

Temperatures regularly go to 0F here, the 0-100F scale makes much more sense than a -20-40C scale when talking about the temperature.

0-30C*, important countries aren't dried out wastelands.

driving on the left comes from medieval times anyway, maybe england should adapt to the modern world

It comes from an interest to not cross swords and to have drawing room. Think how much easier a driveby is when your right hand is closest to the window, that's efficiency.
