People need to be humbled. They'll never admit it outright, but subconsciously that's what they desire.

I disagree.

People don't like being humbled. People just like to virtue-signal.

These college kids get sexual gratification from arguing with Crowder while dozens of their friends and peers stand in line and watch. Even if they are "losing" the debate, they don't care. They just enjoy spouting off their precious feelings, because they honestly, in their hearts, think their feelings trump the facts.

It's virtue-signaling, which has become all too prevalent in today's society, thanks to social media and general narcissism due to parents always telling their kids they can be anything they set their hearts on.

Just an entire generation of spoiled children who wouldn't know true oppression or hardship if it came up and bit them in the ass....but they spend every waking hour claiming to be oppressed while actively looking for shit to be triggered by.

I like to call them "the professionally offended".

Humbling these types of people is an exercise in futility.

Well-said, but I will still try to humble them, when I come across them. I am willing to go up against a gang by myself, regardless if I win or lose. If I win, they'll be humbled; if I lose, I'll be humbled. I will video the exchanges, post it on social media, and everyone will laugh in the end. That's the idea, anyway.
