Thinking about it some more i suggest a tentacle loli foreigner classed Hitler deriving from his fondness for the supernatural.

He didn't really give a shit about the supernatural, and didn't believe in most of it. Himmler was the one who was obsessed with that sort of thing, and Hitler actually used to kind of look down on him for it (but didn't really call him out on it, because he considered Himmler's skills as head of the secret police to be far more important).

Modern fiction tends to portray the Nazis as a whole as obsessed with that sort of thing, but that was mostly just the SS under Himmler.

Many of the other servants were *also* rulers, though. Alexander the Great -- one of history's most famous rulers -- wound up being Rider-class servant.

Yes, but the point is that even Alexander the Great was never literally referred to as "ruler", even when he was basically ruling over a large chunk of the "known world".

Arguably, the sort of figures most likely to be referred to as "Leader" or "Ruler" tend to be the most autocratic tyrants. Whether we're talking about the "Great Leader" of North Korea or the "Leader" (Duce) of facist Italy, or the connotations of supreme rulership that tend to be tied to the "Emperor" title in Asian cultures like China or Japan, there's sort of a line to be drawn by someone who simply leads men into battle or in peace time, and someone who holds a position that essentially represents the incarnation of divine rulership (and whose title literally means "ruler" in their language).
