Though if you want to go in the context of what the roles actually imply in that universe, he's probably more of an Avenger. Zeus posted... Given that he had no combat ability at all He WAS a soldier in the first World War. We can argue just how skilled or able he was, but at the end of the day he DID fight in multiple battles, and was awarded medals for bravery in combat. Which suggests he had at least SOME combat ability. If anything, part of his problem was that he DID have combat ability and experience, which gave him an overinflated sense of his own ability when it came to discussing tactics and strategy, which in turn left him less willing to listen when other, more experienced commanders attempted to contradict him.
