| Zeus 09/10/18 11:22:13 PM #28: | Other than first seeing a local production of Phantom and then on Broadway (by the way, it's the longest running show on Broadway although... if you were to see just one Broadway show ever, go for Hamilton), not really, no. A lot of the stuff I like I started with earlier (Disney songs) or later (show tunes), with some stuff in between (like jazz because, you know, college). Granted, to some extent I probably liked at least *some* show tunes from my teens or earlier, but it wasn't until Hamilton came out that I really got into show tunes again.
