Character development being one of them, the cast has grown to a pretty good size, with most of the characters receiving their arcs that sees them grow and this changes a lot of the dynamics within the series. It ends up making lesser liked characters more popular as time goes on as well. The park scene in snail's story being one such scene that showed how Senjougahara was progressing.
