When are these idiots gonna learn that silencing your opposition just proves their point and gives them more power? Stupid, stupid.

Acting like every viewpoint is equally valid is moronic. The guy makes shit up plain and simple.

So do countless other people on their platform, though.

Every viewpoint is equally valid. They're not equally factual, but a view is subjective and only needs to be valid to the believer. Treating viewpoints as invalid because they're not built on solid foundations is moronic as you can easily defeat these views with sound arguement.

Clearly not every viewpoint is equally valid (and Alex Jones is a great case-in-point), but that doesn't mean that invalid viewpoints should necessarily be silenced.

Not a slippery slope at all.

Apple, Google, and Facebook are private companies. They are fully within their rights to delete any content from their services for any reason or for no reason at all.

Alex Jones has first amendment rights to free speech, but all that means is that he's allowed to say what he wants (with a few exceptions spelled out by law) without the government punishing him for it; access to broadcasting platforms, like Facebook, Youtube, and iTunes, is in no way guaranteed.

...none of which changes the fact that it's a slippery slope. It sets an incredibly bad precedent, especially since it encourages every large groups of morons to bully platforms into what's tantamount to censorship.
