Topic	I kinda wish they HAD made Amazing Spiderman 3

And, while ASM2 was loaded with problems, it was still infinitely superior to SM3. To be fair, in-universe Spidey in the comics doesn't have the same prestige as many Avengers and the fact that he's still somewhat disliked by the public is one of his running gimmicks.
