Raimi's Spider-Man 2 was the best. Took cues from classic Spidey stories, had great set piece battles and Alfred Molina killed it as Doc Ock.

But they also had that goofy shit where he was talking to his tentacles. It's like Raimi only knew how to write villains one way -- make them go crazy and then have them talk to themselves.

Power Ranger Goblin > Mutant Cyborg Goblin.

Wrong.

On-topic: I liked some elements of the Amazing movies, but they dropped the ball on so many things... I even liked Spider-Man 3 more than either of them.

The Raimi films more frequently dropped the ball, though.

I have actually. I own some of them in reprint form. yes he was a kid. but he doesn't act like Holland. I guess we just disagree on what counts as immature. but early comic Peter comes off to me as yes, a young kid but still more mature than Holland. I never saw early comic Peter jump up and down on a bed while whining about Tony Stark treating him like a kid

Of course he didn't. Spiderman was created a year before Iron Man was.

...or, more relevantly, Iron Man wasn't nearly as popular back then.
