You would have to be an idiot to turn down a gig for a highly acclaimed movie. Except no, on quite a few levels here. First, serious actors routinely turn down major roles for fear of being typecast. Most actors are smart enough to understand the risks that come with these kinds of roles (which can and often do hurt their long-term acting careers) and decide accordingly. Second, "acclaimed" is highly presumptuous. What you probably actually meant was "high-paying," which is another matter. yutterh posted...
