RPG Update:

WotC just announced two new future products for D&D (now that Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes is out, they apparently don't feel like they need to advertise for it anymore). It's basically a paired set of books - "Waterdeep: Dragon Heist" and "Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage".

Dragon Heist comes out in September, and is an adventure module for 1-5 level players, which is supposed to be a heist (who could ever have guessed?), wherein the DM picks one of four different villains attempting to steal a huge hoard of gold coins, and the PCs have to investigate and stop them from succeeding, with the gameplay emphasis being more on social interaction, RP, and clever thinking more than combat, and with the setting

Dungeon of the Mad Mage is an adventure for 6-20 which involves going into Undermountain and basically just dungeon crawling through dozens of levels, with each level being set up in a way to have radically different ecology and allowing for pure combat, but also more clever or manipulative ways to negotiate through without having to kill every monster in your way (and some synergy between certain levels - ie, something you do on floor 3 might alter events once you get to floor 7, and so on).
