Militarization of the police is the natural inclination because polkce want to maintain control over the populace. It is going to happen whether people are armed or not. Yes, but the police need to be significantly more militarized when gangs have APC's than when they have handguns. At least while criminals have civilian-grade weaponry, you can push back against militarizing the police by saying "you don't need that." --- This is my signature.
