Yeah, never really liked the park restriction especially considering that children aren't allowed to be there unsupervised anyway and there are generally enough people that they can't get into mischief in the first place.

Yes, there are countless problems with the sex offender registry besides this. Granted, for certain offenders, there are a lot of great provisions since child sex offenders (ie, the ones going after the really young kids) are more dangerous than normal offenders for the simple reason that kids are less able to fend off abuse so publicly identifying them and restricting them from certain areas is a good idea.
