If it's true that you're seen as a sex offender for peeing in public (like behind a tree or something) and that you get all the punishments as someone who actually violated kids then that's a problem Yes, there are countless problems with the sex offender registry besides this. Granted, for certain offenders, there are a lot of great provisions since child sex offenders (ie, the ones going after the really young kids) are more dangerous than normal offenders for the simple reason that kids are less able to fend off abuse so publicly identifying them and restricting them from certain areas is a good idea. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
