Plus I hate how easy it is to accidentally hit software or (especially) capacitive buttons. They're at the very bottom of the phone and don't protrude, how are you accidentally hitting them? SushiSquid posted... A physical button requires real force, so you don't accidentally hit them. And software buttons only need a light touch so you don't need to "real force" every action. SushiSquid posted... Other than cost cutting, there wasn't a good reason to switch to software buttons. They're just inferior. A smooth front is aesthetically pleasing and software buttons don't suffer from wobbles over time or mechanical failure.
