I should have done this before lol.

I'm selling my house as it's silly expensive and my HoA won't let me have roomates live here.

I was thinking of just renting, but decided to check out rooms for rent since I got so many good deals for my previous roomates.

A 1 bedroom 900 square foot apartment with 1 bathroom, is about $800-$900 here.

Just had this guy over who is renting 2 rooms in his 2800 sq foot home (both large rooms), for $800 each. It's about as much as I would pay to rent my own place, but much larger over all. This would solve the problem of living all by myself.

Really on the fence about renting my own place or sharing to be honest, and I have months to decide. This guys is just finishing up buying the place and won't be moving in till the end of May (My place probably won't even sell by then). So that works out pretty well.

Do like having my own place/space, but a room qualifies pretty much, also this guy has no furniture so we could use all of mine (Was selling it all on craigslist).

Still not even sure I want to stay in the area, but the nice thing about renting a room is there is no lease agreement etc. I can totally travel if I want later etc.

So I'm strongly considering it.

Then I think about the freedom to live anywhere I want (even NY!) and I have doubts...but I can live here for a bit till I figure out where I want to go etc.

There are cheap places in NY to live, while not in the main city or long island, it would be a quick trip to go there whenever I wanted, and probably anywhere in NY has good pizza heh (and probably good chineese as well).

Food is so important to me, and the options really suck here in Olympia.
