From what I've personally researched, most of studies done that I've seen come to the conclusion that stricter gun regulations save lives. I can't find the study, but there is one interesting paper that showed that the only legislation that has ever reduced the incidence of mass shootings in the US have been concealed carry permit laws. Id really like to see the methods for that conclusion.
