So just like in a videogame where you unlock the level 25 weapon, you throw away or sell your level 23 weapon and you rarely think twice afterward about it. Bullshit. Butler was on 1st team practice squad all week, and he played a ridiculous amount of snaps during the regular season. Theyre more than likely going to release him, yes. But theres something else going on with the Butler situation. Would Butler alone have fixed the defense and saved the day? Highly doubtful. But the way their secondary was getting carved up, the Patriots wouldve put him in with the half-time adjustments except for this mystery situation. I mean, this wasnt some meaningless regular season game. It was the Super Bowl.
