But that's not incompatible with what you're claiming they said. They're discussing people who play obsessively, not the casual user. And their stereotype isn't entirely wrong, considering there are a lot of gamers who make no effort to better themselves and hold menial jobs where they just aim to scrape by. And, to be completely honest, I'm not sure I personally know any gamers who are also millionaires. Granted, most of the millionaires I know are older and probably didn't grow up with games.
