Because you're apparently so knowledgeable on the subject, perhaps you could explain, in detail, how that actually constitutes a chain. Right now your explanation sounds a little weak. And, generally speaking, the burden of proof is on somebody making an argument, not the person questioning it. You should probably know that when talking about debating, lest you sound oblivious =p So far your argument sounds like you could also argue that the descendants of dictators put in power by Americans are closer to American values than democrats elsewhere simply by virtue of having been placed by Americans (which, when their regime holds up, constitutes "an unbroken chain" even the current dictator doesn't even embody the last dictator's values). After all, it's not like ISIS members, etc, believe in actual Nazi ideology.
