Topic	The Phantom Menace is somehow WORSE than I remembered.

But the first 2/3s of the movie was a combination of completely scatterbrained and boring so I only liked it so much despite the last 1/3 being actually pretty good. Robot was a good character. The dialogue where they were bantering was funny at times-- not sure about the serious stuff though, kinda flat.
