| davidponte 11/03/17 11:37:12 PM #469: | The Soaring Eagle has risen, and he has taken the ever-elusive #1 spot in the BFW series! Now, my job is not done just yet, as there is still justice to be brought. All 3 of my remaining opponents fought me tooth and nail in the leadup to this penultimate battle, but I must choose only 1 to lock up with in the semi-finals. Now, conventional wisdom would have me pick who I believe to be the weakest of the bunch, to ensure myself a spot in the grand final. The Soaring Eagle, however, is not conventional. @Emeraldegg and I have unfinished business. Let's not delay it any longer. If I cannot defeat him now, then I wouldn't have defeated him later on. A victory here in the semi-finals against the man who provided the toughest challenge to me is exactly what I need to win it all.
