Which is literally what happens when you try to heavily restrict or outlaw something that people want. I'm just surprised that these weren't subject to restrictions earlier.

Well here is the kicker fully automatic wouldn't mean much if it was't for high capacity ammo clips. I mean what is the point of firing 90 rounds in seconds if the most your rifle can hold is say 24.

So I think them targeting large ammunition capacity stocks is the best course of action.

Which would be stupid because, if you set the limit at 24 and people actually respected that (which they won't, but let's go with that for now), shooters would simply rely on multiple weapons. Granted, it beats some idiots circulating a "bullet control" meme right now.
